Bear Root ( osha root )

I researched this spring all about this root. My first chance to explore I found it at 10,000 foot elevation but very small carrots. The second outing I hit the motherlode, I was passing up smaller shoots seeking the 3 foot tall stems. I am glad to say its easy to find but do your research as there is a poisonous Hemlock that looks the same..
