This is my latest creation. I cast and paint the claws. Next I trimmed up an otter and wrapped it up. I am still going to add a few things to it yet.

Antelope Motif Parfleche

Incised Bear Paw - on buffalo rawhide
Using up a piece of scrap buffalo ( Wyoming wild buffalo harvested on Shadow Mountain ) I incised a simple design. Made for a friend whom don't know it yet.

Parfleche Sword Hanger
I have a quest to simplify recycled Plains Indian garb. Living off the land and using what was found and recycled. Here is a old Spanish sword without a scabbard and I took a recycled piece of parfleche and added a simple strap..
Dog Bag
An interesting thing about researching Plains Indian Regalia is how things were used. A camp dog for instance was used to pack, guard, eat and utilize. Nothing was simply thrown away. I made this bag from a coyote I had shot. I slipped the hair and braintanned then beaded the legs.

Buffalo Horn Braclet
Here is the end of a huge buffalo horn I carved for a powder horn. The shear size of the scrap made me think . I carved and painted red dots around the bottom and incorporated bear ears for the top.
