Buffler Skinner
This is a huge butcher knife made by the Foster Brothers circa 1850. I made the sheath to fit using an old upper missouri style beadwork pattern.

My Venus of Willendorf.
I carved this Venus from a piece of steatite years ago. Long before a tool called dremel !! I posed it with my sons hands. The Venus was a form of a fertility god in early man in the regions of Europe.

Homespun Ropes

Handforged Fish Hook Flies
I'm putting a fishing kit together here soon, got handforged hooks from my brother. I was messing around and took some red trade wool strips and wrapped it with silk thread... I never tied a fly before just looking for what a mountain man could have used... I will post again when complete.
