Southern Style Hunting Pouches
Here are 2 pouches I've started. One with bear skin flap and the other is of hemp webbing stitched together... I have horns snd straps in the works....
Powder Measures
I cut these brass tubes down from 45-120's cartridges I had laying around. These I made to give away but I want to put some artistic thought into the next ones.. Twigs worked for plugging on these.
Early Ugglies
My youngest son wanted to stitch up a bag for his fire striker. I just happened to have some old hemp webbing. So we made a few and tried to simplify them each. A recyclable item for primitive living.
Horse Quirt
Here's a stick I carved to resemble a horse. The hardest thing was to find a bent stick... I spent a few days walk to find that darn stick...
Homespun pillow tick rope
I took a bit of time and twisted a homespun rope today. It something simple yet quite usefull for frontier living. Mine is going in my haversack, maybe to string a line to dry my snow soaked mocs over a fire.....
